Spring and Bowling Madness

Spring term has been kind of crazy. A lot of big changes (big for me) happened.
1) I'm now graduating next April not this December.
2) I (hopefully) got a really cool internship for the summer that will point me in the direction of a possible career.
3) Moved into my lovely Townhouse (I love saying I have a "house").
4) Bought a new Ipod which despite what you might think WAS a smart purchase for many reasons.

Life is pretty darn peachy right now. =) Even still, I have a hard time finding things to write about, so I will ramble a little and hope somebody finds it interesting...or just plain silly.

At work yesterday we had a 20 lane reservation for the Sports-Camp-Father-Son-Something-Or-Other. Well, I'd say well over 100 people came in between the hours of 7pm and 9pm. Now I don't want to offend anyone and I'm sure it is hard to plan these things, but it did not go well. These father-son duos didn't all want to bowl together because they didn't know each other (understandable). So we said we'd start a waiting list for lanes.
Problemo Uno: It was FREE FOR ALL bowling which meant each group could bowl for as long as they wanted (within the 2 hour limit) so the waiting list has NO approximate waiting time. I told so many Dads "you could be waiting for five minutes or you could be waiting for two hours. Sorry." The waiting list had 15-30 people on it at all times.
Well it was a crazy day but even though I got some angry looks from Dads, some smart mouthed little boys, and was incredibly tired from running around, I still had a good time. I love my job too much to let anything ruin it. =) In fact, I had a dream I got fired and I STILL came in to help clean the bowling alley.
I really love my job.

Termites and Midnights and Night Lights

Hi! It has been too long. I've been...well I could say busy but I'd be lying. Actually I've been lazy and boring and that means watching lots of episodes of F R I E N D S , eating mac and cheese for breakfast, and taking naps in the sun . No one wants to hear about that. But I did do some fun things =) 1) B I O L O G Y I decided to take Biology this summer. Now, for those who don't know, Math and Science are the names of those two little demons in Disney's Hercules movie...at least in my mind. So Biology is my LAST general core class at BYU. Most people take it their 1st semester of college and I'm taking it my senior year. I've been dreading it. Well, so far it has been surprisingly enjoyable. We read a book called Voo doo Sci ence (I know, I know) and it was really cool. Now we are reading a book about decisions and it has guys blowing up missiles and fire figh ters in action. It rocks! You're worth it

It was beginning to be one of those days. Couldn't find my glasses, locked my keys in my car, the shower nozzle broke and water got EVERYWHERE, cut my finger. Who let all the monkeys out of the cage?! SERIOUSLY?! I hate those days. Not only that, a particular person in my life was being hard on me and making me feel like an idiot. Whether or not that was their intention, I was starting to believe it. It all hit at once and it felt like too much to bear. Since crawling into bed and disappearing for a couple decades wasn't an option (I'd rather not sleep through the end of my twenties, I think they have lots of potential) I knelt down to pray. All I could say was "God, tell me I'm not an idiot. I just need to feel like I'm worth something." Almost instantly all those bad feelings went away and I felt, no, I KNEW I was important.
