Life After College...for now

Life after college.
This is what an ordinary day consists of:
-Wake up
-Breakfast
-Scripture Study
-The Gym
-Shower
-Reading
-Nap
-waste time in some unproductive way
-Movie
-Bed

It is pretty routine and probably looks super boring. But every once in a while mom and I go out to eat. Sunday there's church, Monday nights FHE, Thursday nights CFYA (center for young adults at church. We play games and sports and have food and a fireside. pretty fun) and sometimes we go see a movie and sometimes I wander around WalMart and sometimes I loose my mind to boredom but I do what I can.

My schedule will change a little bit pretty soon. Within the next few days I will receive my mission call. Once I know when I go into the MTC (missionary training center) than I will know whether I a) have 3 or more months of this lying around or b) have one or two months to get in shape, buy all my clothes and luggage, and buy a plane ticket back to good ol' Utah.

So life isn't that bad. I've never had so much free time and I do have some goals I'd like to accomplish:
1. Finish a puzzle over 500 pieces
2. Have a Lord of the Rings marathon
3. Read a book from my monster book list (the books are the monsters not the list. This means big books like Les Miserables, Roots, War and Peace, Pillars of the Earth, etc.)
4. Memorize all the lines to a Disney/Pixar movie (I realize this sounds ridiculous but you'll be jealous...just wait and see)
5. Work on my writing (The idea of finishing my novel is like someone saying, "Hey you want to climb Mt Everest this afternoon?" blah. But it must be done if I ever hope to get published)
6. Go to the Gym regularly for one month (harder than it sounds. I do good for like 2 weeks and then I get bored and stop going. Clearly I just need to find more workout tunes)

Anywho, that is my list. I have plenty to do. This whole living in the middle of nowhere in my mother's house isn't so bad. I have plenty to do at home, the desert really is a beautiful place, and my mom is good at understanding I'm an adult who needs her independence.

Life is good.
