Fact: Mary Jane Watson cannot catch a ball

It's catch up day so more posts! Yay!
I have discovered my new favorite place to visit in summer (even though it was Spring and I probably won't ever come back but that is beside the point):W*I*M*B*L*E*D*O*N*
So, the Ibuprofen is kicking in so I'll explain this one to you. It is pretty interesting. For those of you who don't know Wimbledon used to be a private Tennis club. Then one day the roller used to press the grass down broke. They needed to raise money to fix it. They decided it might be fun to hold a tournament and have players pay to enter. Well, more players then expected signed up and they liked it so it kept going and became the spot for the world tennis tournament. Yay!
Well, believe me, Wimbledon is a great place. It has fountains and flowers and huge tennis...uh...fields? yea. It is so awesome. I loved it. It made me wish I could play tennis. =)
P.S. You are probably wondering what Spiderman's leading lady has to do with tennis. Well, Kirsten Dunst, who played Mary Jane in the Spiderman movies, was in a movie called Wimbledon and it was actually filmed at Wimbledon and our guide explained how Kirsten couldn't catch a ball so they had to cut out those scenes. I won't laugh, to be nice, but yea.

Termites and Midnights and Night Lights

Hi! It has been too long. I've been...well I could say busy but I'd be lying. Actually I've been lazy and boring and that means watching lots of episodes of F R I E N D S , eating mac and cheese for breakfast, and taking naps in the sun . No one wants to hear about that. But I did do some fun things =) 1) B I O L O G Y I decided to take Biology this summer. Now, for those who don't know, Math and Science are the names of those two little demons in Disney's Hercules movie...at least in my mind. So Biology is my LAST general core class at BYU. Most people take it their 1st semester of college and I'm taking it my senior year. I've been dreading it. Well, so far it has been surprisingly enjoyable. We read a book called Voo doo Sci ence (I know, I know) and it was really cool. Now we are reading a book about decisions and it has guys blowing up missiles and fire figh ters in action. It rocks! Just another day in Paradise...

So, a couple of us wanted to go to The National Gallery and Trafalgar Square but we took one wrong turn and ended up in a sketchy part of town. There was graffiti everywhere and it was interesting. We ended up walking past an airport and eating in a train station. Haha. It was way fun, let me tell you. The next photo and story is Cambridge! We went there on Wednesday. The picture is of Verulamium a little place we stopped where they had a cool Roman mosaic and some old things like ancient jewelry and such. So fun! That's Elizabeth, Kate and me in the picture. Cambridge didn't excite me much so there are no pictures of it. Plus, my camera battery died. But we did go to an Evensong there and it was so amazing! The last picture is THE BYU LONDON CENTRE!!! Beautiful, right? I kknow! I feel so blessed to live in this lovely place. It's right aroound the corner from Notting Hill too! ever hear dof Portobello road? It's a walk and a skip away!
