The City!






In the past four days I've had some time to explore London. I got to see all of its trademark places like Parliament and Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and the many beautiful parks. I've met some brilliant British people also. Such as the boy who took our picture at Buckingham palace and I think when we all came up and handed him four cameras, he panicked! Haha. It was really funny. Or the guy who told one of my friends to loose weight and one to watch her cleavage (we are all fine weight-wise and wear Mormon modest clothes by the way, he was just a little senile). Apparently he was trying to hit on us but we were more disgusted than anything. Then there is the sidewalk chalk drawer who was pretty good. We've met a lot of Americans. We met a girl studying abroad from Penn state, some boys from Wisconsin and some boys from New York. It was pretty great. So, enough jibber jabber. Here are some pictures for all you duckies back home in the States. =)

     In order for you to fully understand my story I need to start 26 years ago in Tacoma, Washington. Born into the world was a little brown starfish with more hair than cousin It. She was cute. She was 4 pounds. Termites and Midnights and Night Lights

Hi! It has been too long. I've been...well I could say busy but I'd be lying. Actually I've been lazy and boring and that means watching lots of episodes of F R I E N D S , eating mac and cheese for breakfast, and taking naps in the sun . No one wants to hear about that. But I did do some fun things =) 1) B I O L O G Y I decided to take Biology this summer. Now, for those who don't know, Math and Science are the names of those two little demons in Disney's Hercules movie...at least in my mind. So Biology is my LAST general core class at BYU. Most people take it their 1st semester of college and I'm taking it my senior year. I've been dreading it. Well, so far it has been surprisingly enjoyable. We read a book called Voo doo Sci ence (I know, I know) and it was really cool. Now we are reading a book about decisions and it has guys blowing up missiles and fire figh ters in action. It rocks! Just another day in Paradise...

So, a couple of us wanted to go to The National Gallery and Trafalgar Square but we took one wrong turn and ended up in a sketchy part of town. There was graffiti everywhere and it was interesting. We ended up walking past an airport and eating in a train station. Haha. It was way fun, let me tell you. The next photo and story is Cambridge! We went there on Wednesday. The picture is of Verulamium a little place we stopped where they had a cool Roman mosaic and some old things like ancient jewelry and such. So fun! That's Elizabeth, Kate and me in the picture. Cambridge didn't excite me much so there are no pictures of it. Plus, my camera battery died. But we did go to an Evensong there and it was so amazing! The last picture is THE BYU LONDON CENTRE!!! Beautiful, right? I kknow! I feel so blessed to live in this lovely place. It's right aroound the corner from Notting Hill too! ever hear dof Portobello road? It's a walk and a skip away!
